Flower of Love

Oh, my God! Do we need a sunny dream field, or what?
A few nights ago I had a dream that my middle daughter, the one who won’t talk to me, invited me to her wedding. I was waiting for the punch line – something like “You can come but you must be silent and pretend you don’t know me,” or something wacky like that.
She really doesn’t know me…. she turned away from me almost twenty years ago, the product of brainwashing and parental alienation syndrome.
If you see this, please say a prayer that her heart will be healed and her family reunited. I love her – always have and always will! Her initials are NTG. Code name: Nightingale!
That is the bird of paradise that I’d like to have singing near the flower of love blooming in my field of sunny dreams.
Recently I’ve been reading a remarkable book of intense spirituality – Adventures of a Western Mystic: Apprentice to the Masters – about a young man (Peter Mt. Shasta) who became an apprentice to the Ascended Masters. He had many mystical and amazing experiences, but the main thing I’m getting at this point was that he was willing to follow his inspirations and intuitions and inner guidance system. So should we all be.
When the world is at such a confused state as it now seems to be, the need for love is more evident than ever. I mean, if we all had love and more love was given, we’d just think, “Oh, more love,” and probably not even appreciate it. But because the world is dark and full of ignorance and even hatred, with lots of anger and insolence thrown in, when love is given it can make a huge impact.
Of course if the recipient of love doesn’t know how to appreciate it and receives it with anger, that person can be told to “Go enjoy your field of dreams, the maya of the universe.” However there are plenty of receptive and needy hearts that would enjoy a bit of loving-kindness.
We, however, need to be the blossoms of that love… the light flowing from our hearts, from the higher realms, from the higher self, and from Divine Spirit. Why? Because we know about it. We’ve been told, or even experienced that white-gold light that exists in our hearts. Our loving flame of compassion and kindness can ignite the hearts of others.
There’s got to be a tipping point. A 100th monkey event. A certain balance of loving, light-filled hearts that will cause the world to flood with light and dispel the darkness.
So – grow the flower of love in your field of sunny dreams, and learn to share the light, heart-to-heart, because your effort may be part of the human answer to the malaise that has gripped our world.
