After nearly a month, plus some procrastination and consternation, I’ve created a cover I love enough to put on my book!
River Girl Cover - this is a semi-final version, not the final version... I'm still working on it.
My friend, Judy, took a photograph, then a scan, and then… my online friends suggested a change. That is being done… then we will scan again. What a process! But after all is done I’ll have a cover with a pretty river girl. The northern lights come down to her and are transformed into a river, which materializes in her hair.
That is not what the book is about. It is a nice story of a young girl’s life in the Northern California wilderness. See the website for more information… it is at River Girl… where I’ve posted background information and a short story.
